Laura and Christopher Young
It all started when…
A local mother-son team with Brier roots purchased Brier Pizza Kitchen in January of 2021.
Laura Young has owned and managed multiple restaurants both locally in Seattle as well as Santa Barbara, California. Prior to taking on the management of Brier Pizza Kitchen, Laura served as Academic Dean for a private academy for the past twenty years and brings a wealth of knowledge regarding managing people and streamlining systems.
Christopher Young trained professionally in both Scottsdale and Seattle before returning to his hometown of Brier to take on the role of Executive Chef of Brier Pizza Kitchen. Christopher grew up in his parent’s restaurant and learned the excitement and beauty of creating new dishes from his father. As the Executive Chef, he personally creates and oversees the execution of all dishes on the menu and was recently named one of Seattle’s 40 under 40 top businessmen and entrepreneurs.
With Laura’s history in management, Christopher’s culinary skills and their investment in the Brier community, they are far from new to the restaurant industry. They thoroughly enjoy getting to work together to serve premium Italian food to their community and are proud to bring the historic Brier Pizza Kitchen into the new era of Vita Momenti.
